Curries and tom yum soups are in evidence here, but for the most part this restaurant is determined to broaden Glasgow's knowledge of foods by producing a range of yam dishes. This unique Thai dish features very spicy meat or seafood and raw salad leaves; all of its varieties are available here for a very modest fee. Hidden away from the bustle of the city center and west end, Thai Siam has a truly relaxed atmosphere, perpetuated in no small way by welcoming and accommodating staff. If you get bored waiting for the food to arrive, have a look at the big gilt Buddha sitting in the dining room.Takeaway available.
