The Pizzeria Il Sole is located in the Anton-Neumayr-Platz (Anton-Neumayr Square) next to the entrance of the Mönchsbergaufzug (a lift up the Mönchsberg). The pizzeria is housed in the vault of a house that was built into the rock face of the Mönchsberg during the 16th century. The friendly waiters and the furniture create a Mediterranean atmosphere. The menu includes not only pizza and spaghetti but also other Italian dishes and a small selection of Italian wines. There is always a cheap dish of the day at lunchtime. You can also order pizzas by telephone and collect them after about 20 minutes.Takeaway available.Disabled Access.
