Named after the well-known chestnut trees that line the street outside, this unpretentious bistro (Norwegian for the chestnut) has become a hit. The cuisine consists of traditional and modern interpretations of classic Norwegian dishes. Downstairs you will find a lounge for pre- or after-dinner drinks. This is certainly a good place to start off an evening out. You can get here on buses 21, 30, 31, 32 or 45 to Lapsetorvet/Skovveien or on trams 10, 12, 13 or 15 to Solli station.
