It would be easy to miss Uncle Sam's as it is in off the beaten track, situated between the Metro and Mahony's chemist. It is a slightly upmarket fast-food joint, seating about 70 and doing much of its business in takeaway foods. It offers chicken and burgers, but excels in its pizzas, which you can watch being prepared while listening to the jukebox. Overall, good food and good value, in the type of environment you would expect from such an establishment.
