Whatever you may think about the Italians, one thing is for certain—they know a thing or two about style. Recently opened in a somewhat uninspiring shopping mall in Charlottenburg, Incontri has transformed the whole place into a colourful, creative and lively centre of activity. Chefs Andrea Schiavon and Walter Botrugno (recently crowned 'world champion pizza maker') assure that the restaurant is first class, while proprietor Mario Tamponi's connections with his homeland mean that the deli department sells only the best and freshest ingredients. Incontri also puts on regular cultural events such as concerts, festivals and exhibitions.
