Spare, modern decor and a funky downtown location contribute to the popularity of this place, especially with the lunch crowd. The relatively small interior is almost always full of patrons enjoying the extensive and off-beat selections at the sushi bar or partaking of some of the well-known specials. The Sukiyaki and Udon specials, both available only at dinner, are universally praised by diners. The restaurant's liquor license allows them to serve beer and wine with the meals, which typically cost between $10 and $15.
