More information on Havfruen
As the name (The Mermaid) suggests, this is a seafood restaurant. It is located in Nyhavn, where several of the restaurants are known for their maritime, rustic appearance; and this one is no exception. A giant mermaid cut in wood hangs by the bar, and several models of old ships create the impression of being in an old port. The restaurant isn't that big, there is room for 25 customers inside. During the summer you can dine outside. Fish, seafood and shellfish are the stars of the menu. The cuisine is French and offers lobster, oysters, steamed mussels and salmon, to name a few.
