Many people regard an Indian restaurant as a cheap place to get a meal on the way home from the pub. However, Blue Ginger is different. Long regarded as one of the best balti houses in Wales, a visit here is a night out in itself and should be planned well in advance as the restaurant is often fully booked at weekends. Locally produced cream, fresh herbs and spices and top quality ingredients combine in dishes such as mild and creamy chicken korma, a large selection of baltis and red hot vindaloo. The kitchen is open plan so you can watch your meal being prepared while you snack on pappadams. On Sundays there is a very popular "eat-as-much-as-you-like" buffet.
