The distinctive blue carriage is attached to the normal commuter train where you can enjoy a relaxed breakfast, lunch or snacks in the comfort of an air conditioned restaurant and wine bar while traveling to the picturesque historic Naval village of Simon's Town. The service is good, the decor attractive and the view between Muizenberg and Simon's Town absolutely magnificent. Sit on the seaward side and you'll travel right on the edge of the white sandy beaches, around the many small coves with rocks below you. The train stops at all stations and takes an hour for the full journey between Cape Town and Simon's Town. Business functions, whale watching or cocktail parties are also catered for in this luxurious 32 seater carriage.Disabled Access.
