Tuscany Beach is a popular seafront restaurant, with an ambience that entices first-timers to become regulars. The split-level venue is decorated in bright green and beige, with wood and rattan chairs, check tablecloths, bright oil paintings and remarkable framed photographs depicting items of food. The simple but enchanting fare of Tuscany blends with the marine bounty the Cape has to offer, in a menu with a broad sweep. Start with delicious focaccia or bacon-wrapped prawns and then move on to any of the pasta dishes available. The penne filetto al funghi (beef with button mushrooms) is exceptionally good. They also have a host of fish dishes, with the Norwegian trout with orange standing out as one of the best around. The extensive wine list won't cause too much damage to the pocket. It is open daily at 7 am.
