If you looking for a taste of America, there is a tempting alternative to McDonald's situated close to the main train station. Set on two floors, Uncle Sam's is a spacious diner that is always busy, packed with shoppers and families who have been unable to resist the appetizing aroma of ribs and burgers. The menu offers a wide choice of American style food and the prices are very reasonable with dishes such as prawn cocktail or spare ribs or maybe a generous serving of chilli burger, chips and salad. Not the place for an intimate night out as it's quite noisy, but when you fancy a beer and a burger it takes some beating. A children's menu is available.
