Some writers in Oslo give this place as their permanent address. Cacadou may look like any local pub/restaurant but it is not. The owners know the regulars by name (and bibliography!) but are just as welcoming and friendly towards the rest of us. The place is named after the cacadou parrot, which you might discover as a mural early on in the evening. Tasty and popular Indian dishes, hamburgers and the kind of general food you might like to have with your beer are offered. The wine list is not bad.
