Situated on the seemingly never-ending street that is Gloucester Road, lurks an inconspicuous building that hides a gem of a curry house. Inside, it may look like somebody's living room but it is in fact a rare find that has even been recommended by Egon Ronay. The atmosphere is very relaxed—you don't have to dress up to enjoy a meal here; it's one of those places you find yourself coming back to again and again. The choice of curries is stupendous—all the usuals, like Dhansak, Korma, Vindaloo, Methi and Biryani—and vegetarians are well-catered to. For anyone in your party who lacks a sense of adventure there are plenty of English dishes to choose from. Either way it's pleasantly cheap and the portions are large—that more or less covers what most people want from a curry!
