This is Lafayette's favorite lunch place, and for good reason. The menu won't shock you (stuffed this, smothered that), but the deliciousness of what's on your plate might. Try to go on Sunday or Wednesday, when the special is the pork roast with sweet potatoes. The former is perfect, melt-in-your-mouth tender, with spectacular gravy. The latter is slightly caramelized and squirted full of a gooey sauce that seems to be made of cane syrup, butter, and lots of cinnamon.
