A small awning above a rosemary-green door gives the only indication that this little Italian restaurant has carved out some space on the River Walk. If you're having trouble finding Dolores Del Rio, just follow the smell of garlic or look for the crowd of people waiting to get in. Warm candlelight casts lazy shadows on the white rock walls and low ceilings settle over intimately fixed tables. Add in some live jazz music and belly dancing and you've got one of the most romantic, one-of-a-kind restaurants in the city. Almost anything you order is guaranteed to be delicious. Try Linguini with Asparagus, Mostacolli with Meatballs or Stefania's Gorgonzola Pasta at this truly unique eatery.
