The popular Bubba Gump seafood chain is oddly suited to Lahaina, somehow. It is centrally located and offers a market and gift shop as well as a dining room overlooking the water. This is a family-style restaurant with a theme, but the seafood is consistently good and prices are reasonable. The staff is cheery and bright—just like the decor, especially in the daytime. Try the Shrimper's Net Catch appetizer: 3/4 pound of shrimp, steamed in beer and flavored with either Cajun Spice or Garlic Spice.
