Crowds flock to this small eatery hidden behind Ben Thanh Market. The short menu features specialties from Hue in central Vietnam. The ban beo (steamed cake with ground shrimp) and bun bo (Hue spicy beef noodle soup) come highly recommended. Two dishes are a good amount for one person and will only cost around USD1 together. Wash them down with beer, tea, or juice. A few paintings adorn the walls, but your attention may be taken by the simple rock gardens that sit at every table and the songs of Vietnam's beloved songwriter Trinh Long Son that fill the air.
