This restaurant, just half a block off Alki Beach, is such a throwback that it's even housed in an old log house. But if it's good, old-fashioned home cooking you crave, this place is worth searching out. Although the menu has other dishes, the fried-chicken family dinner ($14) is the meal to order here. The log house is set behind neatly trimmed lawns shaded by trees as old as the house.
