Located downtown on the pedestrian mall, Adam's Place's interior conjures up an old English inn and is one of the most elegant dining establishments in the city. The menu is short, changes frequently, and relies heavily on fresh local produce. On a recent autumn evening the appetizer menu included creamy cambazola fondue and a halibut ceviche Napoleon. Entree flavors tend to be simple yet creative. Seared duck breast might be served with roasted mission figs and onions, and cedar-planked halibut might be topped by lentils with squid ink. In the summer, you can dine under the stars out on the patio. Several nights each week there is live jazz in the adjacent Luna nightclub.
