Although Mr. Taco's is 25 minutes south of Providence, people often come from the city for their smothered burritos, tacos, the appetizer of barbecued pork, Whiskey Rivers Chicken Wings, and the Empanada Supreme dessert, custard and bananas in a fried tortilla. They offer a full bar including pitchers of sangria or strawberry margaritas. This two-floor eatery with paintings and Mexican objects around the walls is perfect for a family dinner or a special date for two.
