Located right on Yamashita Park in the Hotel New Grand, a Yokohama landmark since 1927, is this upbeat Italian restaurant. The huge floral arrangement in the middle of the cozy restaurant always invites favorable comment. The European window casings together with oriental rugs, plain tablecloths with colored napkins, candlelight and recessed ceiling lighting all help to make a cafe-like atmosphere.Food Type: Among the tasty items from the a la carte menu, popular appetizers include the fried mozzarella and the prosciutto di Parma. A specialty pasta dish is the linguine with crabmeat and mushrooms. Both Norway scampi, marinara-style, and the osso buco are must haves.
