This upscale restaurant offers fine American fare. Photographs of many famous patrons, including military, political and sports figures, who have dined at the Occidental grace the walls. The entry level feels like a club, with a large bar, dark paneling and leather seats. The upstairs dining room is more formal with large booths and a small bar, and the patio overlooking Pennsylvania Avenue offers a wonderful view of the Capitol. Grilled meats and fish are the specialty. Lighter entrees are available as well.Takeaway available.Disabled Access.
