Gazi, the district once best known as the home of Athens's gasworks, is following in Psirri's fashionable footsteps. AristeraDexia, with its glass catwalk over the wine cellar, open kitchen, and endless small tables packed with hipsters with cellphones, is one of Athens's hot spots. As for the food, it draws on traditional Greek flavors and ingredients, but combines them in unusual ways. The always-changing menu might have squid in egg-lemon sauce or crayfish dressed with lavender and sweet moschato wine.
