Despite the French name, this bustling candle-lit restaurant serves contemporary Scottish cuisine. The decor is stylish in a new wave sort of way, with an ornate mosaic floor and lots of bright colors. Bouzy Rouge is also found in Airdrie and Edinburgh, and the Brown family who own it have won the same success here. The menu is affordable and original, featuring lots of fresh local produce to get the taste buds excited. On one side of the menu, you'll find simple steaks and pasta dishes, while the other side you find more complex dishes such as their famous tri-color savory pudding starter. It's particularly popular at weekends and for family Sunday lunches, so book first. Please check the website for open hours.
