Gasthof Gruber sits right next to the bus terminal and is a traditional restaurant with a romantic, comfortable setting. The décor could be described as classy and rustic, featuring plenty of wood and tempered pinks. The fine, bourgeois cuisine goes hand in hand with the surroundings. On the menu you'll find some rather rare central European favorites and local specialties, such as Onion Roast or Cheese Spätzle (an Austrian variation on Cheese Straws) with Salad. The wine list is relatively comprehensive but features mostly southern Austrian vintages, along with some wines of international origin and a set "wine of the month." This is hardly a gourmet hangout, but it is a very pleasant, inviting place to eat where one dares to linger a while.
