More information on Old India
Noteworthy both in terms of its aesthetics (a grand-style, majestic Grade II-listed former stock exchange building) and the ability to sample the real cuisine of the mogul kings and princes with contemporary style, there are few places like Old India outside of London. In our opinion, this is the best Indian cuisine that this city has to offer. The building boasts of Doric columns, vaulted ceilings and a Victorian tiled hallway. With specialist ingredients from rare spices through to exotic fresh vegetables, poultry, meat and seafood, the menu combines the traditional Indian flavors and earthy delights with style. Service was exceptional and very quick the last time we dined, and a very informative chat about their bespoke offering was also most appreciated. Check websiteTakeaway available.
