Viana Mar is on the main commercial thoroughfare, behind a granite facade whose severity is relieved by colorful awnings. Near the nondescript reception area lies a sunken bar. Each small guest room has basic furnishings but comfortable beds. For the most part, bathrooms are equipped with tub/shower combinations. A few rooms are in two nearby but dull annexes.
