More information on Monet Restaurant

For fine French cuisine with an emphasis on lighter, more contemporary preparations, it's hard to beat Monet. Owned and operated by chef Pierre Verger, Monet has been in business for more than a decade, a testament to the popularity and quality of the restaurant's Gallic cuisine. Be sure to start with the smoked salmon wrapped around avocado mousse and served with a lemon-lime vinaigrette. From there, you've got plenty of good choices, including a filet mignon with the chef's sauce of the day. For lighter appetites, there are always several interesting salads and an excellent French onion soup. Though the big white house looks rather plain from the outside, inside you'll find a somewhat formal and impeccably set dining room. On warm days, you may want to dine in the garden surrounded by many of the same flowers that grow in Monet's famous garden in France.
