Very much in the French bistro style, this spacious restaurant in a very popular district of Bilbao is equipped for special occasions. The quality of its cooking ranges from the most complicated preparations to the most typical appetizers. Not for nothing has the Gredos won the prize in "classic canapes in the omelette category". During the week this simply decorated restaurant is patronised by office workers, while at weekends the atmosphere is more homey. Here are a few suggestions: vegetable stew, cod, peppers stuffed with crab, and steak fillet with wild mushrooms.
