La Chiacchiera is a gastronome's delight. You spend little and eat well. In the summer, you can also eat outside. The interior is typically medieval with two rather small rooms offering about 40 seats. It is best to book. The cooking is typically Tuscan with bruschette, salamis, cheese, stews, soups, pasta with vegetables (pici all'ortolana) and, in winter, pappa al pomodoro (a bread and tomato soup). The Osteria is close to Santuario Cateriniano and the Basilica di San Domenico in Via Sant'Antonio off Via della Sapienza.
