Fine Abruzzese restaurant serving regional meals. A cheerful place perfect for a meal with friends. The decor is very attractive: a high ceiling in some of the rooms, visible brickwork, Baroque boisèries, ceramic floor tiles and solid wood tables. The service is quick, precise and discreet. A nice touch is that the plates and bowls are ceramic as used to be standard at one time. The menu is based on recipes from Abruzzo flanked by specialities from elsewhere in Italy. Try the arrosticini with mutton sauce, boar with polenta or sagne (handmade pasta) with polenta. Then there is grilled meat and fresh fish. The portions are large!
