Cafe Asean is a Southeast Asian restaurant featuring Vietnamese and other dishes from the region, including a fair representation of Malaysian and Thai cuisine. Try Gado Gado, a salad of vegetables, tofu and rice cakes smothered in peanut sauce, or ikan bakar, filet of snapper with coconut lime sauce. The staff do their best to please and provide very prompt service. There is a garden in the back that adds an alluring touch to the entire decor. What sets this place apart from others is that it lacks the frenzied pressure of a lot of New York eateries.Takeaway available.
