Buckhead has numerous Mexican restaurants, but none so uniquely qualified to educate gringos on the delights of authentic, south-of-the-border cuisine. Voted Best Mexican in Atlanta five years in a row, this laid-back eatery is a popular choice with the locals. The signature homemade tamales highlight a menu that includes noteworthy fajitas, enormous burritos and a delectable selection of Mexican desserts. Several winning vegetarian dishes are also offered.
