'Zur goldenen Kron' is a restaurant in Alt-Eschersheim for as long as one can remember. The two inviting dining-rooms are always full of guests anxious to begin eating the quality food that comes out of Dieter Schreuer's kitchen. He has been a chef at both the Interconti and the Schloßhotel Kronberg. His current premises facilitate friendly banter and drinking. The regulars easily socialise with the colourful crowd of guests. There is an eclectic range of delicious meals to choose from and the staff quite amicable. Take your pick from traditional meals to light seafood and nouvelle German cuisine. A chalkboard also has a list of seasonal specials which are usually moderately prices. The house speciality is Frankfurt Green sauce with Fried Potatoes.
