Reminiscent of a more genteel era, this green clapboard clubhouse is surrounded by public tennis courts, bowling greens, and ancient cedar trees. Three rooms decorated in hunter green with dark wood and whitewashed accents reinforce the clubhouse atmosphere. You can enjoy a traditional afternoon tea here every day from 2 to 4pm, or come for lunch or dinner. The dinner menu features well-prepared dishes such as maple-glazed salmon, flaming prawns (done at your table with ouzo), and a seafood cornucopia. The oyster bar has at least a half-dozen fresh varieties daily. Desserts are sumptuous. The restaurant/bar draws a mix of golfers, strollers, tourists, and local execs.
