More information on Pasta Da Pulcinella
Pasta da Pulcinella was known for years as a humble hole in the wall serving up great pasta at rock-bottom prices. Some things have changed since the restaurant moved into new digs. Now tucked away in a charming but crowded cottage, the interior is fancier, though still casual, with table service and a full bar. Prices are fancier, too, but still sensible. What has stayed the same is a commitment to excellent pastas, made from scratch and beautifully presented with a surprising and innovative combination of flavors in each concoction.The most popular dish is tortelli di mele -- plump round pasta filled with sweet Italian sausage, browned Granny Smith apples, and Parmesan, then topped with browned butter and sage. You'll see nightly specials each day, but your best bet is to stick with the pastas or risottos. There is a small selection of Italian wines that changes often.
