In answer to your question I sold my car to buy the one world air ticket - which I booked through trailfinders and then I rented out my house for the 12 months of my travelling and kept to a tight budget. It was well worth it (My daughter (18) travelled for the year too and we met up on various parts of the travels. Hope this answers your questions
