Kimberleys Day 4

Dan gets us up early and cooks us pancakes for breakfast, we wash in the river and head back on the road. There's a lot of driving today and we go through many deep rivers which run accross the road.  We get out for a paddle in Durack River Crossing & take pictures of the van coming through.

We got into El Questro about lunchtime so ate then went on a gorge walk. Its nothing like the scenery we've been used to and its a big tourist spot in the Kimberleys. The whole group can't wait to get back on the track to our secret spots & away from tourism. The pool at the end was shallow & slimy so no-ones too impressed with El Questro.

We get back and make the most of the showers there, first in 4 days then go to the bar for happy hour. After dark we drive off in search of firewood, all a little bit tipsy & pitch black, there's a few scrapes & some falling down going on in the wood pile, must remember in future to get wood in daylight! Luckily our camp isn't in the village its way off in a field called Sea Eagle. There is a long drop toilet closeby though... the luxury of it all!

We make Kangaroo mince burritos for dinner about 9ish and after cleaning up fall straight asleep, knackered once again.
