Well had a nice walk today through Edinburgh and around the castle - it's so amazing and imposing. Can imagine people from the 1700 - 1800 walking around through the old cobbled streets etc
Went into the national gallery and looked at some monet and van gogh - it was free entry which is great get to feel cultured even when broke!!
Not much else has been happening - we have found our new house which is on Douglas cresent. Shaan and I went for a walk around the Haymarket area (which is the suburb) and we have our own private gardens opposite the apartment (feels like the secret garden) and below that we discovered a stream that runs through the city and it's a really beautiful walkway! There are also tennis courts at the bottom of the garden but don't know if they are private or a club! We are also going to join a touch football or soccer club and start playing so hopefuly get really fit.
I have organised some annual leave in august so I can check out the Edinburgh Festival and maybe even volunteer for some event management work. I have put in my volunteer application for the Bejing olympics 2008 in the equestrain events - as public relations/communications /admin type work. See what happens would be awesome to take part in!!
Well haven't been doing much else lately - trying to study for final check flight on wednesday which I'm sure will be fine. But it's just like any exam you always get worried until it's over and done with. Then I can relax and enjoy the job. I think I'll really love flying - the people are great and the customers are fantastic! It's wonderful when you check everyone's boarding pass and they all smile at you - makes you feel great!
That's all for now - will let you know how I go with check flight.
Love Natxx

Hey Natty - Good luck for your check flight though I know you won't need it!! You'll be fine, just keep entertaining the passengers and crew and you'll pass with flying colours!! Where are the shots of you and Shaan? Scotland looks great but we want to see you !! Looks very green, so green. We have had rain here so we have grass too, but not like that. It is raining here today Yay!! Looks like blue sky over there! Send me the address of your new abode - looking at the number of houses on Douglas Crescent I think the Scottish postie will need a house number - the houses all look the same, hope you guys can find your front door (stumbling home after after work drinks......!) We Love you and miss you and will be thinking of you on Thursday morning (Wed night!) GOOD LUCK xxxx
