Well...Our bus tour is over and it was great. I just can't describe how nice the scenery is in the highlands. Now we're back in Edinburgh and instead of going straight to London we decided to stay another night because the city is awesome. There is a huge castle right in the middle of the city on a big hill. We climbed a mountain today (it's more like a hill really) and we were able to see the entire city. The funny thing is that we thought it was a pretty steep climb and then on our way up and down we saw kids under the age of 5 and seniors.

We went to look for a good deal on hostels. They are everywhere. We left a few because they were way to expensive then we went in one where there were some people arguing with the manager. Apparantly they booked 15 rooms and they only had 13...either way the place was booked up so we were about to leave when some women from the group told us we could have one of theirs...for free! So we secretly went with them and the manager figured out what was happening so he followed us and got very angry.... In the end we got one room for free and saved 40 bucks. ANd this hostel has cool single rooms with a kitchen and lounge and nice showers.

We were planning on leaving for London about now but a ticket to London cost 90 pounds...that's about 200 bucks a person for a 4 hour train ride! We investigated and managed to sqeeze into a train at 7 tomorrow morning for only 35 pounds...quite the savings. 400 dollars for two tickets is insane! our flights to Germany cost more than 200 dollars less.

Oh and we went on a ghost tour last night which was terrifying (for me at least....Mark got scared at the end....he jumped.) We walked the city at 10 oclock last night and went to an old graveyard to a locked part of the property which used to house criminals and their bodies. Basically our tour guide had the key and we went in to the area which is apparantly an area where there have been many encounters with a poltergeist. 118 people have passed out on the tour over the years and there have been reports of scratches and bruises appearing on tourists after the tour. So she took us into a tomb and spoke about some of the weird occurences and at the end a man with a mask came screaming in. It was pretty funny and it freaked out everyone squished in the tomb.

There is a festival on tonight so we booked tickets for a comedy act and we're just going to relax and have a few drinks. Last night we went dancing at a bar and had a great time. Okay so MArk is telling me to stop typing already....I'm sorry i've written so much :)
