I spent three months in Ecuador, from October of 2006 until January of 2007, exploring the culture of the country. I spent one month in Ecuador the year before, but had very little time to really get to know the country. During my three months in Ecuador I was able to do a lot of learning and traveling. The highlights of my trip were taking two months of Spanish classes at a Spanish language school and about twenty salsa dance classes. I briefly did volunteer work with poor children in the historic area of Quito.  I did traveling in the Andes mountains, along the Pacific coast, and in the Galapagos Islands.
