On the shore, there were lots of Meter-taxis waiting with a map to all the beaches and the rate. Our hotel would be 700. We bargained it down to 400 and when we arrived 20 minutes later, we knew that we had still paid too much.

We arrived at our hotel and were shown to our hut. To our possitive surprise it had aircon and it looked really nice. We had dinner at Chardonnay. Neha had ordered a sweet and sour chicken dish with fried rice, which was excellent. But not as good as my little fish with some sweet curry.

The next day we did not do much. Most of the time we enjoyed our room and the aircon. I did walk to the beach for an hour or so but that was it.

On Saturday 21st, we rented a scooter and drove around the island, which was bigger than we anticipated. We saw the big Buddha, also a temple with all kinds of buildings. We reached some viewpoint on the east side of the island and went to the grandmother and grandfather rocks.
