An awesome city
From South East Asia in 3 months... in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on Oct 18 '09
We arrived in KL today after an interesting taxi journey, i.e. the taxi took us to the wrong hotel, possibly the nicest hotel ive ever seen, louis vuton shop in the foyer... definately not us. We went to our correct hotel which was suprisingly not far off being as nice as the posh one we had just been taken to. We are right next to the petronas towers search them on google images, they are quality. We went off to china town which was a good laugh haggling with the stall holders i bought some "Ray bans" and rob got some "oakleys" look pretty damn good for fakes but we got a little ripped off at 9quid a pair. We carried on and i bought a nice tag watch for 30ish quid, looks stunning. We went for a beer and discussed what to do for the rest of the day, turns out rob had fallen in love with my watch so we went to get him a similar one at a little bit cheaper of a price. We went back to the hotel chilled in the pool and had a kip by the side for a bit, so tired after only 2 hrs sleep the night before. We went out to town for dinner which was so nice and only a fiver each for tanzanian bbq chicken. Gorgeous. Worked out my watch was a piece of junk as it stopped working. GREAT. Crashed out early as we wanted to get up early the next day.
