After checking out of Villa Veronica, we drove straight to Montepulciano. We parked the car and started walking.

We were walking past some modern shop where they were selling all kinds of cheeses, oils and wines and where you could also taste. That was where we first tasted the Pecorino cheese.

Walking on we entered the town by climbing some steep streets and passing some kind of city walls. Again a pretty little place with lots of charming streets and shops.

The main square is situated at the hightest point of town. Near it we found a nice restaurant with a view where we enjoyed our lunch.

The tourist info is situated on the main square. We went in and asked for some booklets on Agriturismo's. A very friendly guy helped us and gave us all kinds of books and maps.

Next we went back to the car again to go to the next place.
