We were planning to come here any way, but only the next day. But since we were kinda close and we had a lot of places to see the next day, we decided to give it a go.

And it turned out that it was our lucky day! First of all, this day was the day of local festivities. The whole town was gathering at the square listening to some older guy playing his keyboard and singing. And a bit later they were all playing Bingo.

We unfortunately had to leave the party because we had some tourist stuff to take care of, like seeing some parks, a few churches and some nice houses and buildings along the way.

We wanted to stay for dinner and found a nice restaurant: Trattoria Osenna. We had some time to kill before it opened. Neha found a shop where a woman was selling self-made jewelry. When Neha was paying for some ring, whe was trying to explain that she had done some business with someone in Australia, who had sent her an email explaining how to send some things to Australia. She asked us if we could help to explain what it meant. Luckily she had a computer, an internet connection and Google Translate was able to help us to help her.

Back to our restaurant. We seated ourselves outside and ordered a real Italian meal. A starter, a pasta meal and a meat dish. And of course desert and coffee.

It was soooooo good! Delicious ham and melon, some local pasta called Pici with a wild boar sauce (bit spicy). After that I had more wild boar. Being so full we might have skipped desert after all.

A very definite recommendation: Trattoria Osenna!
