Sunday was a great day. Best Thanksgiving celebrations in a long time. I helped my mom with some of the supper. Seeing how I'm a culinary student it is assumed I would help. Although by the time I was awake my mom had finished everything except the mashed potatoes. So I made the BEST damn mashed potatoes that anyone could ever wish for.
My dad's family came over for the feast; Aunty Janet from Richmond, BC. Aunty Gwen from Rolling Hills, AB. Aunty Joan and Uncle Ron from Portage la Prairie, MB. Gramma Russell came from Carman and then my brother, my dad, my mom and I. It was nice to be all together! I hadn't been with that many Russell's in one room for a long long time. Lots of wine, lots of food and good conversation and fun.

After stuffing myself with turkey, potatoes, squash, peas, and stuffing, I headed over to the Mason Hall in town for a get together with all the old Sperling friends. What a great night...I think. Haha!
When I woke up the morning, aka 12:30pm; I called my friend Erica and we went to the Buddy's Drive-In for some comfort food. Cheeseburger with Mexi-Fries and iced tea. YUMMY! When driving through Carman this is a must place to stop in at. It's the best drive-in food in Manitoba. My opinion anyways.

After, we rented a movie- Sunshine Cleaning. Kind of morbid, but I liked it.I had leftover dinner with my parents and Aunty Joey. Watched some One Tree Hill, hung out with Chey and Erica for some much needed chill time...then came home, packed and went to bed.
