The Port of Acapulco was on the agenda for today. We docked at 8:00 am and it was raining!! Sky was cloudy but the tour was on. We did a city tour which ended with seeing the famous cliff divers. The sun actually came out later in the morning. When we arrived, there were 7 of them, one 15 year old girl. They climbed up the cliff from the ocean. They said a prayer at the top then proceeded to dive. They had to jump out 21 feet to clear the rocks and the dive itself was 132 feet down into 12 feet of water. Quite a feat! This was one of the highlights so far.
The temperature was still 89 degrees with a humidity of 89% so you would break out into a sweat just standing still. After the tour, we meandered the streets before going back to the ship. We set sail for Hualtuco at 5:00pm.
We went to the theater show tonight and saw a very funny magician before taking in another delicious dinner.
