Week 10

The biggest event this week was the state of the firm conference call held between all of the McLagan offices.  Some of the topics discussed included new initiatives that the firm would be undertaking to offer more comprehensive products.  I will not go into the details but several senior analysts, associates, and directors made short presentations to update the entire firm on their new products or new developments in their field. 

            Also this week, I developed two different templates that the Private Client team will use when we run year-over-year reports.  The first template is a simplified form that takes only minutes to complete.  The second template puts the information in a grid for each different function code.  This template follows our standard format more than the first template, but takes longer to complete.  I was very proud of the finished products and look forward for my work to be used on a daily basis.  These templates will be used as reference materials in the near future.
