bangkok

hello both safe and well. Having a great time so far.

Started off in bangkok. Did a tour of the city on the first day. Saw the lucky buddah, grand palace and some temple. Also had to go to a few taylors for the tuk tuk driver to get free petrol!! They were really rude though so we just wasted their time then left!. Went for a couple of drinks in evening and steve went to a ping pong show (for those of you who dont know what this is please ask steve as he wont tell me!) he seemed to like it tho as he insists he'll be going back!! Pissed it down in the evening, turned the streets into rivers. Reken that much rain would shut down the uk for a week, but they still tried to sell us tat!!

Had some disgusting lunch buffet, it stank

Went on a tour the next day to a floating market. It was like there versiom of the m6, massive traffic jams except they just rammed there boat into others to move them! Then we went on to the River Kwai and walked acroos the bridge. Had a look in the museum but didnt understand anything! Had some disgusting lunch buffet, it stank. Finished off in Tiger Temple. Got loads of pictures of us stroke ing and kissing them. They are all vegeterian aparently coz the monks bring them up! Finally got my margarita pizza in the night (was great mum, reken its bout 3rd best country for them!!)

Had a chilled out day next day and checked out the markets then had to get the night train from bangkok to a train station 12hrs away. Had our own bunk beds, but couldnt sleep was freezing. Then straight on to the bus for a hour and ferry for 2. Very long trip but worth it. We are now in Koh - phangan staying in a beachside bungalow. People here are really friendly, the mozies arnt so nice!
