Today we had the morning off so most people slept in. Some others got up early for breakfast and took a morning walk etc. After lunch the band left for Inchmarlo, while Vicky and Deborah went sight seeing. We had a wonderful performance and enjoyed the scenery at Inchmarlo. They were a very receptive audience and a few people had Canadian backgrounds. After the performance we had tea and then we headed back to the residence for dinner.

Most people went to bed and got some rest as tonight there's a farewell party which starts at 9:30pm. At present everyone is getting ready and dollsing up for the party.

Now we're back from the party. Everybody had a blast and partied from 9:30 till 12:30. While the youngsters partied downstairs a representative or two from each band was invited for cocktails upstairs with the Lord Provost and the Directors of the festival. Salmon attended the function. Michael Adams and Donna Dasko also made a guest appearance and stayed for part of the function upstairs with the Lord Provost. At 12:30 the majority of the group headed back to the residence. Salmon and the older guys headed back at about 1. Everybody had fun and it was a great way to start the ending of the festival! Later today, saturday... the gala show will begin at 7pm.
